Review: Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

sephora.com

Happy Boxing Day! I hope you all have had a nice holiday, I know I'm spending today curled up in bed relishing my last day before work tomorrow. I thought I'd start off product reviews by going over one of my favorite face cleansers, my Holy Grail perhaps.

I have always had issues with different products irritating my skin ever since I started getting acne around age 13. The products I used either made my skin break out worse or my skin dependent upon them so if I skipped a day my skin would go haywire (It was bad enough to where I used to think my skin was oily, but it is actually dry).

This past summer I went into Sephora because drugstore products never seemed to work for me so I finally figured, go big or go home. I have these little bumps all over my skin that are not acne and just wanted those gone. The woman I talked to recommended the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser.

I was very skeptical when I first tried it, but I ended up loving this and have since then repurchased it. The cleanser is very gentle on the skin and does not strip moisture, which is very stellar cause I have dry skin! The cleanser is strong enough that is also acts as a makeup remover too though. If you want a deep scrubbing, this is not for you. I exfoliate my face once a week or so with a different cleanser.

The cleanser is for all skin types and has amino acids in it. The scent reminds me of cucumbers and is a bit stronger and may bother some if you are sensitive to scents. Overall, something I definitely love and will continue purchasing!

What are your Holy Grail face cleansers?!

Welcome To My Ramblings~

As every teenage girl like my sister, or college student like myself, or a grown woman like my mother, we all know being a female is freaking difficult. It becomes especially difficult when you start using beauty products because you have to be conscious of what does and does not mesh with your skin and hair type. I also know that beauty blogs are there to help you with these potential purchases.

I find that a lot of these beauty blogs are either focused almost completely on drugstore products or almost completely focused on high end. I don't know about y'all, but the products I use are about 50/50 on which route I got for my beauty products. So this is where I am coming in, I want to write about beauty products, I have a passion for looking nice. I also want to have an even number of high end vs. drugstore reviews, as well as reviewing products that the people who read this want to see!

But, this isn't just going to be beauty products. As a glasses-wearing nerdy sorority girl, I like things like food and clothing and Doctor Who as well. This blog is just going to be things I like, okay?

Here is my face, do you trust this face?!

Whelp. This is my starting line. And here I am. Ready. Set. Go.
